Bree Edgar, Coach
Since coaching the Stingrays to a bronze medal performance in January 2018, Bree has been in high demand as an elite ultimate coach. Bree has followed up the Stingrays campaign as Head Coach of her local club team, Rogue Women's Ultimate Club, taking the bronze medal at the Division 1 Australian Ultimate Championships in April. Bree was also part of the inaugural Australian Ultimate League coaching the Adelaide Dragons and has been appointed as an assistant coach for both the Stingrays 2019 campaign AND the Australian Barramundis Mixed Ultimate Team 2020 campaign!
Bree combines her extensive experience as an elite player and coach with her natural analytical style, making her an excellent tactical and technical coach. Bree’s approach to coaching places a heavy emphasis on empowering players to problem solve on-field and she is very excited for the opportunity help the next generation of Stingrays to fulfil their potential, on and off the playing field.
Bree is also a lifelong learner who is constantly looking for ways to expand her knowledge outside the frisbee field. For any up and coming coaches looking to learn from Bree, we highly recommend asking her what is on her bookshelf at the moment! Or take a read of some her recent work and see how many book recommendations you come away with...
